As evident this post is full of spoilers so whoever does not like to read spoilers please stay away from this post. So, without further delay let us begin. This episode is a story of two father’s who are the opposites of each other. One is the father of the real-life daughter and owner of Delos.

Westworld Season 2 Episode 9 Review

The other one is the father to hundreds of robots. Within them, he had imbued his own worldview. Ford and William are business partners, yet two complete opposites. This episode was fully focused on the Man in Black or William as you may call him. In the second season, he has become someone who the fans haven’t been able to understand what he truely wants. westworld season 2 episode 9 He seems to be at a point where there is no return at all. The thing with William is that his story has always been focused on perception. During the beginning of his story, he fell for Dolores.

As his story progressed, he became obsessed with his company’s biggest investment, as he wanted to make sure Delos’ plan was being followed. He also became obsessed with Ford and his little games. Kisuya revealed to us that if a neglected host suffered, that could trigger an awakening of humanity in them. On the other hand, the suffering of a neglected family only worsens things. It pushed people away from the human world. Despite all his actions, William always wanted to keep what he did in the Park a secret from his wife and daughter.westworld s02e09 But when his secret was out it drove him further towards obsession and madness. When Ford pulled the plug, Juliet killed herself, and William’s daughter also got away from him. Teddy, on the other hand, doesn’t drive any of his family away. But he is driven to kill himself. In doing so, he takes away one of Dolores’ most formidable weapons.

Like William, he just has one way out. There’s nowhere for him to go. Teddy’s story made him fall in love with Dolores but he didn’t love her because he wanted to. He tried to run away from it all, and that resulted in him taking his own life. While he tried to run, William tried to embrace the darkness within him. They both seem to be all alone and William wants to solve the last riddle given to him by Ford. That is it from today’s post on Westworld season 2 episode 9 review.
