Hey guys! Hope you all are doing well. In this post I’ll be discussing Wano’s biggest secret, time travel in One Piece. There were numerous inconsistencies in the statements made by various characters and this gave rise to many speculations, one of which was the time travel in One Piece. This post is regarding just that.
Let’s begin this post regarding Wano’s biggest secret and time travel in One Piece universe
So, first let me tell you about some inconsistencies in statements that raised room for theories and speculations.
Let’s talk about what Momonusuke has said in the past, and do keep in mind that he is eight years old. He first said that it has just been some months since his father was killed but in reality it has been 20 years. Momonusuke Kozuki also said that he met Gol D Roger in person, a man who died more than 20 years ago. Also, he said that Nekomamushi and Inuarashi were best friends till just yesterday, but in reality they had been despising each other for 20 years.
Also, when it was revealed that Momonosuke is Oden’s son, then how could he be just eight years old when his father died 20 years ago.
So, these are some statements that just couldn’t seem to be explained. But there were strong speculation that Momonusuke and others time traveled 20 years ago into the current timeline.
But most of the fans thought that all these theories didn’t make any sense and said that Wano’s biggest secret is that it has a different timeline altogether.
Finally, in One Piece manga chapter 919 we got the answer to this question, and Foxfire Kinemon himself confirmed that they are from the Wano country of 20 years ago. Thus, it confirms that Momonusuke and others have time traveled to current timeline. This defied the laws of nature. In One Piece manga chapter 918 we saw the ghosts of Wano.
This gave us a hint that since Kinemon, Momonusuke and others were also among the characters whose graves seem to have been there from 20 years.
Also, being a ghost means that someone who is sighted after dying. So, it seems that all the characters whose names are written on these graves are still alive, and are present currently in Wano.
Thus, this is Wano’s biggest secret. 6 of the characters seem to be well-known, these are Momonusuke, Kinemon, Kanjuro, Raizo, Oden and Kiku.
Yes, I do think that Kiku is one of these characters, because of the way she reacted after meeting Kinemon and Momonusuke. It is also possible that Tsuru might well be another retainer of Kozuki clan. But importantly, it kind of hints that Oden Kozuki is still alive as well as he’s also known as a ghost of Wano.
So, this is what I think might have happened. Someone among the ghosts of Wano had the time time devil fruit using which all of these ghosts of Wano time traveled to the current timeline.
I think Kurozumi Orochi obviously had no idea that such ability existed.
So, it is highly possible that the wife of Oden Kozuki had this devil fruit instead of Oden.
That’s why Kurozumi Orochi had no idea about ahy of this. Even though they were supposed to burn in Oden castle, they somehow managed to make a heroic escape. Also, it seems that this devil fruit only allows one to send others in future and not past as it would have been easier to kill Kurozumi Orochi when he was a kid rather than 20 years in future where he is way stronger. Nonetheless, it means that Oden Kozuki could still well be alive. Now, we’ll have another member of the Roger Pirates that we can look forward to seeing.
He surely has vast amount of knowledge regarding the poneglyphs, and thus can easily teach our very own Nico Robin a lot of things regarding poneglyphs.
He can even teach Momonusuke read and make Poneglyphs. Also, at last, Oden Kozuki will regain the power to rule Wano Kuni, and finally open the Gates of Wano for the world to see.
That is it from today’s post on Wano’s biggest secret. If you do not agree with the points in the post and have some of your own opinions, share them with us in the comments section down below. Keep visiting TheAnimeScrolls for more information about Anime, Manga and movies.
