Hey, every One Piece fan out there. Right now One Piece fanverse is over the moon because of the ongoing Wano arc in One Piece manga. In the last chapter, we got to see Roronoa Zoro and Vinsmoke Sanji getting into the heat of battle. The exciting news has come and the release date of the first episode in which Wano country arc will officially begin will air on 07 July 2019.

Wano is a country which is not allied with the World Government. Right now it is fully under the control of yonko Kaido and its cruel shogun Kurozumi Orochi. Monkey D Luffy and Trafalgar D Law’s alliance is looking to take down Kaido and in the process freeing the Wano country from the shackles of its tyrant rulers.

Big Mom will be shown travelling to Wano in order to kill Monkey D Luffy as well in the new episode of One Piece anime. Right now the anime is adapting Reverie Conference arc which has been going on for longer than usual. Normally, One Piece animates one and a half chapter per episode but right now it is just adapting half chapter per episode which is exactly one-third of the normal pacing of the anime adaptation.

Why is that happening? There are two reasons for that and in the long run, both of these reasons are for the benefit of the fans. First one is most of the staff is working on the One Piece Stampede movie, this means that we’ll surely get an awesome movie in August as most of One Piece’s staff is working hard on it.

Now, they could have continued adapting manga with the small staff but that would have compromised the quality of Wano country arc which is arguably going to be the biggest arc of One Piece manga thus far.

Oda has already revealed that Wano country war is going to be the biggest war ever seen in One Piece universe. So, it is better that we wait for the production of One Piece Stampede to complete. The main staff of One Piece anime is going to return from July 1 and also the new director will be taking the reigns from 1 July 2019. This director is one of the best directors around and is known as Tatsuya Nagamine.

He has directed One Piece Film Z and Dragon Ball Super Broly which has been the biggest hit of the franchise.
