The Isekai Quartet’s first season earned a lot of popularity in the world of anime. Many well-known anime characters were included in the anime’s first season. Now, the Isekai Quartet crossover anime’s “Yōkoso Isekai!” fan appreciation event has announced that characters from The Rising of The Shield Hero franchise will be a part of the second season of Isekai Quartet. They willnne “guest stars” in the second season. During the event, several other characters who would be appearing in the second season were also teased.
The first season of Isekai Quartet was streamed by Crunchyroll and Funimation as it aired. The first season premiered in Japan on April 9. It has a total of 25 episodes.
“The button appeared out of nowhere. There weren’t any signs NOT to push it…so the solution is obvious, right? Is it a trap or the start of something new and exciting?” Several characters from KONOSUBA, The Saga of Tanya the Evil, Re:Zero, and Overlord, are going to find out when they go from their world to another and get stuck in…class?!
The scripting and directing of the anime is done by Minoru Ashina (Kaiju Girls, Pure Pure Purea Desu Overlord shorts). The character designer and chief animation Minoru Takehara. Studio Puyukai (Kaiju Girls, Lord Marksman and Vanadis, Pure Pure Purea Desu Overlord shorts) is animating the series.
The Rising of The Shield Hero anime is going to have two more seasons after the first season of the show ran for 25 episodes. It is great for the fans of the show and it will be really awesome to see more of Naofumi and the gang in the next seasons.
