Luffy’s moves in this form are based on snake names. These moves are extremely fast and can hit anyone, at any angle. Luffy’s technique in this form resembles a move that he used in Gear 4 Bounce man called “Culverin”. Luffy can use this technique with great power, and with much more speed. He can control the speed of his arms just like he did against Katakuri.
Luffy can also use a gatling type of attack, which allows him to increase the speed of the attacks and move it in a peculiar manner with which he can confuse this opponents. He has shown us many powerful moves, and he was able to hit Katakuri thanks to them. Some of them are, Gomu Gomu no Jet Culverin is a faster version of Boundman’s Gomu Gomu no Culverin. His arm speeds up the more it stretches, and the force of the punch was strong enough to smash Charlotte Katakuri into a wall. It was first used in One Piece Chapter 895.
The second move is Gomu Gomu no Black Mamba. Luffy arches backwards and compresses both arms before unleashing a extremely fast strike, moving his arms up and down to give the impression of multiple arms moving to attack.
The third one is Gomu Gomu no King Cobra. In this technique, Luffy compresses his arm, and as he releases it, he blows into it to expand his forearm as it moves around, increasing his attack power. This is his strongest attack in Gear 4 Snakeman state.
