Funimation Licenses Dragon Ball Super, Plans English Dub

On Friday, Funimation announced that it has entered into a multi-year agreement with Toei Animation to license Dragon Ball Super. According to the deal, it will license it in the United States and Canada. Also, the license will cover things such as streaming, broadcast opportunities, and merchandising. Crunchyroll, Daisuki, and Anime Lab began simulcasting the series in different regions on October 22 by posting the Future Trunks arc and have been adding back episodes at the rate of 10 episodes per week.Toei Animation announced last month that the anime will begin airing in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa between fall and winter.
