Hey guys! Hope you all are doing well. I’m back with another one of the news posts. I’ll be discussing the information about 13 reasons why season 3. 13 Reasons Why is still one of the trending shows in the world. The second season was released recently in May 2018. And it seems to be as successful as it’s season 1. But the second season did fall flat at times, and just wasn’t as good as the first one. Coming to the future of the series, if you’re a huge fan, there is absolutely no need to worry. The show was officially renewed by Netflix on June 6, 2018. Brian Yorkey said that there is still some of the story left to tell. This is what he said specifically:
13 Reasons Why Season 3 Release Date
“I always think there’s more story to tell, but I think that depends on viewers and everyone’s reaction to it and whether it’s important to keep telling the story.
If there is a future for the show, to me, it’s about these characters, and not necessarily a new set of reasons or a new set of tapes. Someone else might do that, but that’s not my job to do that.”
We can confirm that the preparations for 13 Reasons Why season 3 have already started. Season 1 of 13 Reasons Why aired back in 2017, March 31, 2017, to be exact. Its second season arrived on May 18, 2018, which is just over a year later. Going by that, it seems season 3 for Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why will be out sometime in 2019. A May 2019 release looks to be the earliest for the series, with chances of a release in June 2019 being pretty good as well. Some of the cast is returning for season 3. They include Dylan Minnette (Clay Jensen), Christian Navarro (Tony Padilla), Brandon Flynn (Justin Foley), Justin Prentice (Bryce Walker) and Alisha Boe (Jessica Davis). A return for Hannah could also be on the cards, but we don’t know anything for sure. Here is what Yorkey said about Hannah:
“There’s a whole life that Hannah had, and there’s more we can learn about her. Overall, learning more about her is more important to the entire narrative,”
Minnette said. The loss of Hannah will continue to be the inciting traumatic event for this group of kids and parents. It will always be part of the story. But I don’t see a tremendous continued presence for Hannah because I think we needed her to finish telling everyone else’s side of her story and we needed her so that Clay could get to a point of saying, ‘I love you and I let you go’. If the story does continue, and certainly there is lots more to know about a lot of these characters, then the spotlight focus on Hannah Baker is probably done.”
13 Reasons Why Teaser Out In 2019
If you’re waiting for a teaser trailer of 13 Reasons Why Season 3, it probably won’t arrive this year. Season 2’s trailer arrived a month before the official May release, and I think it’ll be the same with Season 3.
